Ingreadients:
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 4 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large red bell pepper, chopped
- ⅓ cup water
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried, crushed Mexican oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Direction
- Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook beef in hot oil, stirring occasionally, until brown on all sides, about 10 minutes. Reduce heat to medium.
- Add tomatoes, onion, red bell pepper, water, cumin, garlic, garlic powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until beef is tender, about 30 minutes.
